Half Up Hairstyle with Arched Barrette..

This is an easy hairstyle. I like to wear my hair ‘half up’ when it’s relatively clean but when I need it out off my face.

This gorgeous Handmade Wide Arched Barrette in Vanilla from my favourite hair accessories store Tegan Accessories makes this hairstyle just a little more classy. The subtle whites and creams work well in amongst my silvers.

Today was wash day and it feels so so good. Just making an extra effort on your hair and make up gives you so much ‘pay back’. Loving my slightly shorter length and tempted to go a little shorter again. It’s a sign of change I think. I found this passage on Pinterest and I couldn’t find the credit so please add if you know where this came from. I thought it was a great reminder. Sometimes it’s easy to forget the simple things. We can be easily distracted by what’s on our screens and in our busy lives, that it’s easy to lose our way. This quote is a great opportunity remember to stay in our own lane. Keep working on our well-being over 40, prioritise our needs, which has never been so necessary as we approach peri menopause and menopause. The weather today in London is glorious ☀️ . It’s been nice to be out in it. With everything going on in Europe, I find getting some fresh air and sun does wonders for your mental health. I pray that peace will come soon. Scary how life plays out when love is not leading the way. I’m hoping to get to Australia soon and this pic was taken in Australia a few years ago. I was just starting to get used to the idea of growing out my silvers. I think my mum took it ☺️ I only have a week left on my account restrictions and it’s not been so bad. It allowed me space to work on my online business guides. I have a starter guide, which will be free when you subscribe to my newsletter or if you are already a subscriber.
