I have only recently started using the JANE IREDALE LIQUID MINERALS A FOUNDATION and I love it for a more sheer natural look. It is also a wonderful anti ageing foundation for reasons I will go into in this review.

What makes this Foundation so Good?
The spheres you see in the bottle are actually state of the art technology.
They prevent the active ingredients from degrading and allows a time release into the skin. Genius!
It feels really cooling on the skin when it’s applied and I love that and is excellent if you have sensitive skin.
Who is this foundation ideal for?
This foundation is perfect for mature skin due to its anti ageing benefits and finish on the skin. It plumps and hydrates while calming inflammation. You can feel the cooling affect of this foundation as soon as it is applied to the skin.
For skin that is lined and maturing, then this foundation helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, evens out skin tone and minimises pores.
Because it adheres so well to the skin there is minimal transference. It goes on quite ‘wet’ but soon ‘sets’ beautifully and lightly on the skin.
What are the main ingredients and what do they help with?
Ingredients include hyaluronic acid for hydration and moisture. Vitamin c to reverse UV damage and for brightening. Melanin is also in this foundation and works as a skin protecter.
Co-enzyme Q10 is also an active ingredient and helps reverse the signs of ageing, making it a very beneficial ingredient for those with mature skin.
What is the coverage like?
The foundation gives a sheer to medium coverage and is also great for those with very dry skin due to the properties in the product that target dry and mature skin (over 35).
The hyaluronic acid component in particular, can really help give your skin a hydration boost that lasts and you can feel it in the texture of the products when you apply it.
I find it’s great for plumping up my skin and reducing the fine lines around my eyes.
Is it Suitable for Vegans?
As you can expect from Jane Iredale, it is cruelty free and suitable for vegans.
Foundation colours include the following;
