The JANE IREDALE PUREPRESSED BASE FOUNDATION is my favourite compact mineral foundation by a mile.
It looks amazing on the skin and has so many added benefits for maturing skin, which I will explore in the review.
What is the coverage?
The coverage is medium and slightly more sheer than the powder foundation mentioned here, but can be built to full coverage if desired.
What are the key ingredients?
The foundation has two key ingredients, namely pine bark and pomegranate extract. Both work to counteract UV damage. It gives the most flawless finish of all my powder foundations and I love applying it with a kabuki brush because it glides on so well.
Who is this foundation best for?
This product suits all skin types from mature to oily. However, I would steer clear of any powder foundations if you have very dry or flaky skin because it can become cakey in those areas. If this is a problem area for you, then the liquid foundation may be more suitable.
Is this product suitable for Vegans?
This product is both vegan and cruelty free. Happy Days!
What is the colour range like?
Colour range is excellent and includes a colours for fair to very dark skinned with cool to neutral undertones. I wear Radiant in the Winter and Suntan in the Summer- both have a neutral undertone. Here is s snapshot of the colours for reference.
Gentle on the skin.
Lasts all day.
Contains SPF 20.
More expensive than most High Street Mineral Foundations.
May not be suitable for those with very dry skin.
This is my personal pick, however, please don’t just take my word for it. Go over to Amazon and check out the reviews for yourself.
